In my opinion, where Native Instruments shines is their ability to make workflow easier. But this keyboard allows you to use every Native Instruments plugin seamlessly. I use a lot of Native Instruments plugins, such as Kontakt, Battery, Massive, Reaktor, and more. I’ve never seen a more integrated MIDI controller. Let me start off by saying that while I love Novation’s line of MIDI keyboards, this thing is its own unique beast.

The Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S49 is the exception. With most MIDI keyboards, you don’t always need every button that is meant to control your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
